Ayurjagruti is an Ayurveda and Yoga based Wellness Workshop given by Dr Nisha Manikantan. Topics such as the fundamental principles of our body's functions, nutrition, detoxification processes, plus movements and stretching that help strengthen the body and mind are addressed. The main goal is to help participants discover a holistic way of living in accordance with their unique constitution.

 

Fundamental principles of the main functions of the human body as well as maintenance of well-being throughout life as we grow older are the focal points of this program.

 

Participant will identify their unique constitution (Prakruti) and, with this, will learn how to improve their quality of life by handling their imbalances (Vikruti) in a proper manner:

 

1. How to plan your lifestyle and diet according to your Prakruti (unique type of constitution) and imbalances;

2. Nutrition tips based on Ayurveda (combating digestive and metabolic diseases);

3. Mudras for various types of diseases and conditions;

4. Stretching to Relieve Difficult Situations

5. Immune enhancing techniques and body detoxification

   Ayurveda and beauty

The ancestral science says that true beauty cannot be achieved without internal and external cleansing. Ayurveda and beauty is a workshop that addresses exactly this: how beauty is linked to good health. In this 3 hour workshop, Dr Nisha Manikantan will unravel the myths about beauty, share tips and secrets on how to eat and rest better,  and how to make the best use of beauty products from natural elements. The workshop covers the following areas: proper nutrition, correct breathing, development of natural habits, self massage, simple and effective ayurvedic techniques.

baby massage 

Massage for babies is a 3 hours Workshop where Dr Nisha will explain step by step how to massage your baby. Very nice experience how the babies get relaxed and how they react to the massage. Vey important to bring your babe, but pregnant women are welcome as well. This Workshop is open to anyone who would like to learn.

Ayursutra

Ayur means life, Sutra means knowledge. In this workshop we will cover the basics principles of ayurveda: how we can maintain our physical and emotional health according to ayurveda, how to understand our nature/personality, what we can do to Always be in a balanced state, how our body clock works, we talk about detox and lifestyle as well. It is an introductory workshop for those who seek to live according to the laws of nature and reach optimum healthy.

dinacharya

 Dina means day & charya means routine or regimen. 

Ideally, early hours of the day, when directed  towards one’s own body and mind brings intense  clarity; it is a time one should focus thoroughly on cleansing of the body and mind.  

During the daytime, the focus shifts onto one’s  work  according to his/her profession. 

After sunset, is the time to relax and engage in singing,dancing, and family discussions, and other  bonding  activities;

The main goal of this Ayurveda retreat is  to inspire people to have an ayurvedic  life based. Nowadays, ayurveda is  becoming more recognized. So, our main idea is to  spread this knowledge in a way that people in few days can start  realizing the difference in their lifes. So  we are proposing a 5 days Ayurveda retreat fulfilled with a lot of Ayurveda knowledge, deep

 meditation, yoga, Marma therapy , ayurvedic food,  Nadi Pariksha consultation and Satsang  with Gurudev`s knowledge. 

Detox Workshop

Detoxing your body helps in a number of ways. It strengthens your immune system, helps your body function better, gets rid of toxins and helps you function much more efficiently. But there is a fine line between detoxing your body and starving it. We live in an environment where we are exposed to different types of  toxins, frequent change in the weather and different types of  food. The environment, the radiation within it and the stress we  experience every day, has a role to play in the accumulation of toxins in the body. 
 
In general the body has the capability to flush out these toxins. In fact the detox process occurs in our body on a daily basis. But this may not happen effectively and sometimes one may not be supporting the body sufficiently to allow it to happen efficiently.
